The cable cutter cuts through ACSR (All Aluminum Steel Reinforced) up to 795 kcmil and AAC (All Aluminum Conductor) up to 1 1/4″ (32 mm). With one or two-handed operation, the high leverage guarantees a simple, accurate cut. Handy and compact with highest performance. Extremely stable, dual guided rotating blade. No fanning out of the cable: precision ground and induction hardened cutting edge for a clean cut and long service life. Low handforce required due to two-stage gear drive with ratchet mechanism. Fixed handle with support area for laying down the pliers when cutting. Locking mechanism for transporting with securely closed handles. Made of special high grade tool steel, multi stage oil-hardened.
